Feet up with friends

In the course of my investigation into the original author of the blog with the title "Toni's Tales" (see previous post) I discovered a host of tales and a myriad of Toni's.

Egocentric I may be, but with that many Toni's out there, it's hard to be individual.

Then I thought of the reason for this blog, and realised that, although I am the author, I would love to have some good chinwags and interaction.

Hence the new name.

Anyone who knows me knows I love to sit comfortably on the couch, tasty treat and accompanying drink in hand (or at least within easy reach), while I spend quality time with my friends and family. Pull up a chair, put your feet up. You're welcome here!

Wow, I found ME!

By a majority consensus, my friends requested I write a blog instead of my loooooong intermittent letters. So, I decided to register a blog with Blogspot, as I've heard so much about it.

Imagine my frustration when I found that someone had registered both "toniq" and "Toni's Tales" already!! Hmm... I would have to find out who this person was! Blushes galore as I discovered it was ME!

Waaaaay back in the dreary mists of time, I had actually started this blog, while I was on dial up and utterly virgin at the internet portal. I had made a few tiny posts, and then as my divorce came through and I no longer had internet access, I simply disappeared ... and forgot about it.

It was quite a battle to persuade Blogspot I am me so that they would let me back, but after flooding them with information and offering them more, they did. I'm very impressed with their security, most reassuring!

Now, apologies to those of you who commented on my posts and were ignored. It was not deliberate, I had no access to the internet after my divorce and, to be honest, didn't even know at that stage that you could post comments on a blog! Grief, quite embarrassing to admit it, but we all start somewhere!
